Volkswagen Buses has launched its new generation of bus chassis in 2023, in commemoration of its 30th anniversary. The new models are also more efficient in terms of fuel economy, averaging up to 5% more compared to their predecessors.
Safety is a priority on the new Volksbus buses. Features such as Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Traction Control (ATC) have been incorporated to improve driving safety. In addition, shutting down the bus with the doors open prevents them from opening during the movement, thus ensuring the safety of passengers.
Demand for buses is on the rise, and Volksbus has received orders for more than 500 units of the new chassis, which will be delivered in the coming months to modernize customer fleets in Brazil. The brand has experienced a growth of more than 100% in bus registrations for passenger transport in Brazil in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the previous year.
