08 July 2023

The CIVA Group, one of the main passenger transport operators in Peru, has added five new Generation 8 Marcopolo Paradiso 1350 highway buses to its fleet. The vehicles, sold through the Mercobus representative, will be used for transport by highway, on lines between the capital Lima and cities in the interior of the country.

“CIVA is a traditional customer and has a fleet of predominantly Marcopolo models. This new supply reinforces the close association between the companies and the success that all the Generation 8 models have achieved abroad”, highlights Guilherme Schimidt Neto, business operations consultant responsible for the Peruvian market.

The five Paradiso 1350 have Scania K440 chassis, a total length of 15 meters and capacity for 52 passengers in semi-bed seats, all with USB ports and a retractable three-point seat belt. The vehicles are equipped with air conditioning and audio and video systems with DVD and monitors. They also have a total separation wall, curtains and electronic itinerary.

CIVA has more than 50 years of activities, it has been a Marcopolo client for more than 30 years and in November 2021, it acquired the 450,000th bus from the Brazilian manufacturer, a Paradiso G8 1800 Double Decker. With a fleet of more than 300 buses, it operates throughout the Peruvian territory and is considered an innovative company committed to providing a quality, safe and comfortable service.
