Modasa arrives in Arequipa with its E-Titan electric bus

The zero-emission bus, manufactured by the Peruvian company, continues to conquer localities in order to move citizens with efficiency and environmental sustainability

Modasa, Integra Arequipa and the Municipality of Arequipa, present the E-Titan, the first 100% electric bus manufactured in Peru, arrives in Arequipa with the objective of being part of the Integrated Transportation System, providing a comfortable, safe and sustainable travel experience .

The E – Titan urban bus can transport up to 85 passengers, has a capacity of 200 kWh, and a range of approximately 200 kilometers. The CCS2 type DC fast charging port of up to 60kW allows you to recharge the batteries from 10% to 100% in just 3 hours. The bus offers all the comfort options, such as air conditioning, USB ports in the seats, among others. It also includes a virus and bacteria reduction system that protects the health of all its passengers.

On the environmental care side, this bus will contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions by 75-80 tons in one year, compared to conventional technologies (NGV and diesel), as well as reducing noise in urban areas. In economic terms, they are evaluated at 80-90% savings compared to CNG and diesel respectively. “At Modasa, we are confident that this project will bring great benefits to Arequipa and will encourage Peru to be on par with large countries that have a focus on developing smart and eco-friendly cities,” comments Daniel Rubio, Manager of the Bus Division. from Modasa.
